PU inserts For abrasive products
The valve seat insert design was first developed for applications with very abrasive products. The seat insert was then made from PU (polyurethane), which is extremely resistant to wear. In combination with valve balls in EPDM, the configuration has been very successful in ceramic and porcelain applications
Insert seats now standard on PTFE pumps
Our PTFE pumps are now supplied with the new insert seat type from size T100 and bigger, to achieve a better suction performance. The seat insert, as well as the sleeve is made from PTFE.
Available seat insert materials:
The seat inserts are available in the following materials:
PE, PTFE, stainless steel AISI 316 and PU (polyurethane). Other materials available upon request.
Interchangable spare parts
The new insert system is fully interchangable with the classic system.
